Grushko reported on negotiations with Cyprus on consular services for Russians in the north of the island

Moscow is in talks with Nicosia to provide all kinds of consular services to Russians living in northern Cyprus, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko told RIA Novosti.

“We have been holding consultations with our Cypriot colleagues for a long time, and this was officially announced following the negotiations we had, and consultations with the Cypriot side, that we need to provide all kinds of consular services for Russian citizens who live in the north of the island. This process is continuing. I am sure that we will come to an agreement with the Cypriot authorities on this matter,” Grushko said on the sidelines of the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.
